My family immigrated to the United States when I was four years old. Through hard work and opportunity, I graduated from UCLA and Harvard, built a successful career, and became a husband and father of two.
After the loss of our son, Dragon, our family turned tragedy into service by creating the Dragon Kim Foundation to fulfill his dream of helping young people. That work has changed lives, developed future leaders, and reinforced my belief that strong communities are built when people step forward to serve.

I know how to bring people together—and how to turn difficult situations around.
Through the Dragon Kim Foundation, we have helped students launch service projects, supported college scholarships, and invested in young people with the potential to lead. Professionally, I am a turnaround specialist trusted to help struggling companies make hard choices, rebuild performance, and return to profitability.
Fullerton now faces a multimillion-dollar budget deficit, neglected roads, and difficult choices about the services residents rely on. Change is coming. I am running because my professional experience and record of service can help our city meet this moment with discipline, transparency, and hope.
